The best gift that I could have given myself was to seek professional support from a life coach. This led me to becoming a life coach myself so that I could support others in this life-changing transition called retirement, or what I would like to call re-wirement.

Initially somewhat apprehensive when I stepped into my first session of coaching with Patricia Lawrence, I was surprised how calm she made me feel. Patricia helped me navigate my way through my life’s tapestry, as she put it, dealing with the the ups and the downs with the help of somatic exercises. I was amazed how in this process a new feeling of balance, confidence, validation and empowerment came over me. I was supposed to have been working through impending retirement, but I found myself totally changed. I was embracing something entirely new and refreshing - what she calls the re-wirement of self.
